This
picture is of dry cobbing 1”minus crushed ore
– note the material flying off the head pulley
and moving to the right – that is the reject
tails having no magnetite while the material
dropping vertically off the drum is the magnetite
bearing crude ore – this is the first stage
of concentrating. This specific test rejected
30+% of the total ore feed while the magnetite
loss was less than 1% - at this point there
is no question about whether or not the Bending
Lake ore responds well to dry cobbing.
