McKay
Chief Administrative Officer
 Ms. McKay has more than 20 years of experience
working with Aboriginal communities on numerous economic development
projects and related issues. Through her consulting company, McKay
Management, Dawn provides financial management and business consulting
services to various individuals and corporations. She has a proven
background in political policy development, economic programming and
management. She is currently involved in various projects that provide
negotiation, management, business planning support and services to clients.
Dawn serves as the Vice President of
Operations for the Bending Lake Iron Group Limited. As a
volunteer, Dawn is currently Secretary of Anemki Mountain Corporation
and a member of the Advisory Committee with OMAA the Woodland Metis Tribe in
Thunder Bay. She has also served on the Lakehead University Aboriginal
Management Council, Lakehead University Senate, and is past Secretary/
Treasurer of the Anigawncigig Institute.
Ms. McKay holds a B.A. in
political science and geography from the University of Western Ontario. |
