The local communities impacted by this project include the
Bending Lake area itself, and the towns of Atikokan, Ignace and Dryden, all
within a short driving distance of the proposed mine site. Each offer
unique opportunities for strategic partnerships with Bending Lake Iron Group
Ltd. involving housing, economic development, the provision of goods and
services and employment opportunities, including value-added products.
