The Bending lake Iron Deposit is located 280 km northwest of Thunder Bay 25 km south of Highway 17 along Highway 622.  The deposit is accessible by a well maintained logging road and the northwest extension of the deposit crosses Highway 622.

Bending Lake Iron Group has acquired 49 mining patents, and options on 11 patents with the associated 1584859 Ontario Inc and 32 mining claims (Jan 13/08) associated with Windigo Ridge Resources Inc. covering a 50km˛ area.

This picture is of dry cobbing 1”minus crushed ore – note the material flying off the head pulley and moving to the right – that is the reject tails having no magnetite while the material dropping vertically off the drum is the magnetite bearing crude ore – this is the first stage of concentrating.  This specific test rejected 30+% of the total ore feed while the magnetite loss was less than 1% - at this point there is no question about whether or not the Bending Lake ore responds well to dry cobbing.   > More Bulk Sample photos
